OpenAI는 2026년 4월 17일부터 ChatGPT에 .hwp·.hwpx 파일을 그대로 올려 요약하고 질문할 수 있다고 밝혔고, Gemini는 2025년 12월부터 HWP를 읽습니다. Claude 앱의 공식 업로드 형식에는 HWP가 없어, 무료 한컴오피스 뷰어에서 PDF로 저장해 올리는 편이 안전합니다. 한글 파일로 다시 저장해야 하는 작성 작업은 AI가 쓴 문구를 한컴오피스에 직접 붙여 넣거나, 한컴오피스 2024 사용자라면 한컴어시스턴트를 쓰는 방법이 현실적입니다.Reading is easy. OpenAI said that from April 17, 2026 you can upload .hwp and .hwpx files to ChatGPT as they are to summarize and ask questions, and Gemini has read HWP since December 2025. Claude's official upload formats do not include HWP, so it is safer to save the file as PDF with the free Hancom Office Viewer first. Writing back into a Hangul file is more practical by pasting AI-written text into Hancom Office yourself, or by using Hancom Assistant if you have Hancom Office 2024.
