An MCP server for tax-practice statute and ruling lookup. It uses the Ministry of Government Legislation Open API so an assistant can read article text, the wording in force on a date, delegated legislation, and rulings from the courts, the Constitutional Court, the Tax Tribunal and MoLeg interpretations, and it computes deadlines (including the 5-year amended-return window) and tax from yearly rate tables. The public endpoint is https://mcp.tax2.ai/mcp, with 23 tools.

Some MoLeg response fields (Tax Tribunal, three-column comparison, old/new text, legal terms) are still candidate mappings not yet checked against live data, and the corporate-tax rates 10/20/22/25% for business years beginning on or after 2026.1.1. are marked caution until compared with the original text. The Claude web and desktop connector asks for a TAX2 account login via Kakao.
